世界大学道德准则

Employees and representatives of 沃拉沃拉大学 (“WWU”) must practice honesty and integrity in fulfilling their responsibilities and in addition should seek to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.  因此,WWU期望并要求其董事, 军官, 员工, students and volunteers to observe high standards of business and personal ethics in the conduct of their duties and responsibilities.  除了这些一般的期望和要求, there are a number of specific codes of ethics and conduct that may apply to those in particular jobs or professions, 比如 Title IV Code of Conduct under the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 适用于学生贷款, and discipline-specific codes of ethical conduct 比如 AICPA and state CPA society codes of ethics applicable to certified public accountants and the state bar rules of professional conduct applicable to attorneys.  These various expectations of ethical conduct as applicable to each specific situation are hereinafter referred to collectively as the “世界大学道德准则”.

没有报复

没有主管, 高级职员或雇员, student or volunteer who in good faith reports a violation of the 世界大学道德准则 shall suffer harassment, 报复或不利的雇佣后果. Anyone who retaliates against someone who has reported a violation in good faith is subject to discipline up to and including termination of employment. This Whistleblower Policy is intended to encourage and enable 员工 and others to raise serious 担忧 within the 组织 prior to seeking resolution outside the 组织.

WWU maintains an open door policy and 员工 are free to share their questions, 担忧, 向能妥善解决问题的人提出建议或抱怨. 2.     主管:

Supervisors and managers are required to report suspected violations of the 世界大学道德准则 to the 组织’s 合规主任(申诉专员), who has specific and exclusive responsibility to investigate all reported violations.

合规主任(申诉专员)

Pedrito Maynard-Reid is 沃拉沃拉大学's 合规主任(申诉专员). The ombudsman (also called ombudsperson) is appointed by the university to protect the interests, 学生的特权和权利, staff and faculty and functions as an impartial and neutral resource to assist members of the campus community. 但监察员不能取代或取代其他申诉, 投诉, 或上诉程序, they are able to provide information relating to university policies and procedures and facilitate the resolution of problems through informal investigation and mediation.

会计及审计事宜

The Finance Committee of the WWU 校董会 shall address all reported 担忧 or 投诉s regarding corporate accounting practices, 内部控制或审计.   The 合规主任(申诉专员) shall immediately notify the Finance Committee of any such 投诉 and work with the Finance Committee until the matter is resolved.

诚信行事

Anyone filing a 投诉 concerning a violation or suspected violation of the 世界大学道德准则 must be acting in good faith and have reasonable grounds for believing the information disclosed indicates a violation of the Code. Any allegations which prove to have been made maliciously or knowingly to be false will be viewed as a serious disciplinary offense.

举报违规行为的处理

The Compliance Officer will notify the sender and acknowledge receipt of the reported violation or suspected violation within five business days. All reports will be promptly investigated and appropriate corrective action will be taken if warranted by the investigation. 

保密

Violations or suspected violations may be submitted on a confidential basis by the complainant or may be submitted anonymously. Reports of violations or suspected violations will be kept confidential to the extent possible, 符合进行充分调查的需要.
